The Rwanda Governance Board says the survivors of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis should take heart in the fact that there will never be genocide again in Rwanda.
RGB says they will do everything opt ensure good governance in Rwanda since poor governance was the main cause of the genocide perpetrated against the Tutsis.

This was said by RGB officials who were visiting Ntarama Memorila Site as well as genocide survivors in Bugesera district.
“Commemorating genocide is time for us to remember the bad history of Rwanda and plan the future for the country based on the past. And for RGB, it is also time to support the genocide survivors” says Prof. Anastase Shyaka the director of RGB.
Prof. Anastase Shyaka went on to say; “Rwanda has decided to uplift governance that reinstates and values the social welfare of the people the governance that supports genocide survivors, with Rwandans living in harmony as well as long lasting development.”

Prof. Shyaka says RGB workers decided to visit the poor 1994 genocide survivors in Ntarama and Nyamata sectors in Bugesera district to support them and give them hope for a better future.
RGB workers got to visit one poor genocide survivors who were left with no family members due to the 1994 genocide against Tutsis that annihilated most people.
Donatilla Nyiramafaranga a 77 years old lady and Alphonse Kabega 76 old man residents of Ntarama sector were visited and even supported them for their daily expenses.
