Kigali city has experienced economic development that has created programs to retain, expand and attract businesses as well as building job opportunities and enhancing the city’s economic liveliness.
In his tour around Nyarugenge Central Business District, City Mayor Fidele Ndayisaba appealed to city dwellers to ensure full protection of the city’s infrastructure by taking it as their core responsibility.
“The assets and infrastructure being put up belong to the public and were put in place for the welfare and convenience of the people. Therefore, your cooperation, awareness and alertness are of great importance,” he stated.
He also said that Rwanda has made aggressive steps in infrastructural development for the city and the whole country in general.
Due to the improved investment environment, the city has attracted many investments and the people are benefiting in different ways.
