A chat revealing people’s role in the elections

“With the right efforts to sensitise, we expect high turn up for the elections,”said Odette Mukakirenga, Head of Nyagahanga electoral Zone.

Residents dubbed election knowledge important.

“Providing the prior knowledge about elections should be made an achievable target in the performance contracts. Residents should indeed have a hand in choosing who leads them,” said Elyse Bitegetsimana, The executive Secretary of Bugamba cell, in Gatsibo.

Christopher Mugire in charge of electoral operations in Gatsibo and Nyagatare district says such trainings were given to different categories of people. The sole purpose of this is to create the same goal of having lenient and successful elections for Members of Parliament in September.
